The beauty of nature inspires me... And the mystery of the night sky...
As I behold a blank, white silk my imagination soars... A vision of flowers, a riot of color bursts through me and I must create... The glorious prints of things gone long ago... Inspiration flows like the tides of the ocean... And in observing and recording the details of life I grow and change... Unusual and beautiful hand-painted ties for the unique individual.
These powerful beads begin with hand painted silk upon which an affirmation or word is written. The silk is then rolled up and wrapped in wire and decorations and charged with Reiki energy. Sometimes herbs, stones, or other substances are wrapped inside to enhance their healing properties. Each bead is completely unique. Each color has it's own meaning and affirmation. Aura Beads are available as pendants and earrings, and can also be carried in a pocket or purse, or hung in a special place in your home, office or car. $60 for copper and $75 for sterling silver Copper is a warm and wonderful medium to work in. Every piece is hand-made with love and care. I wire wrap every bead, make every jump ring and closure in these lovingly hand-crafted pieces. I love the beauty and warmth of copper. In the spring of 2009, my husband and I created large, scientifically accurate Monarch Butterfly and Luna Moth wings for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The wings are worn by stilt-walking perfomers. I painted, and my husband and assembled the 12 ft. across giants. I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I make art, jewelry, and so many other things. I have loved drawing and painting since I was a young girl. I have practiced massage therapy and energy healing for many years.
